I hate it when my parents don’t “approve†of who I date and they don’t let me hang around him, so I have to go behind my parents’ backs, because I really love him and I think that he’s the best thing ever, but my parents don’t see that. All they see is white trash, as they call him.
My boyfriend started smoking weed about two months ago. Since then, he’s started lying to me, cheating on me, and he no longer cares about anything. I hate weed, all it does is mess up your life and everyone else’s lives around you. It also makes you look like a loser.
I hate the generalization that “the scientific community†operates as one body, as though there isn’t loads of infighting and peer review. This common misconception allows stupid people to enter real arguments and then Dunning-Kruger themselves right back into a land of blissful ignorance.
In 2005 I went to Disneyland and dislocated my right shoulder, then I had to wait a year for surgery to be approved, and after that I did another year of therapy. In 2007 I dislocated my left shoulder and had to wait a year and a half for surgery, then another year of therapy. Now I dislocated both my legs and it’s been a year and I’m still waiting for surgery.
Yes. The Puritans. Their holier-than-thou attitude, prissiness and unfriendly attitude towards everyone makes me angry that they were one of the first groups of people in America. Not to mention the Salem Witch Trials! Their bizarre branch of Sola Scriptura Protestantism led them to lash out at anyone who basically wasn’t in the clique. It’s a very childish way of looking at the world. Imagine, if you will, sitting in a cold, ugly, white-washed building in ugly clothes, listening to a crazy preacher giving his personal interpretation of the words of Christ. If they hadn’t gone crazy with John Calvin’s heresy and abandoned tradition, we wouldn’t have the Trials to look back at. Thanks, guys.
I just moved to Texas from Hawaii, only to find out that most of my credits don’t count in Texas. Now I have to re-take algebra 1 and geometry, which I aced already.
