I don’t hate him, but I hate some of the things he does. He is always posting things on other people’s Facebook walls, rating how they look—and did I get a rate? Nope! Only once, he posted “you’re pretty and we should hang someone†and that meant the world to me! We even went out once but broke up because he said we weren’t meant to be together and that same day he went out with another girl. I know he sounds kinda horrible, but I can’t help who I like. Trust me, if I had my way I wouldn’t like him, but I can’t help myself.
Dance is one of the many arts. I mean, I base it on how you treat the art of it. If you just dance for the fun of it and you don’t exactly love it, I would label it a hobby. If you dance because you absolutely love it, and if it’s your passion, I see nothing wrong in calling it a sport. Why can’t people respect the pure beauty and the grace of it?
I’ve been dancing contemporary since I was 3, and I’m 19 now. That’s about 16 years of hard earned skill for my passion. Heck, I made it to choreography on SYTYCD, season 7. Do you know how much it takes to even get to where many contestants, including myself, were? A lot. I’m not saying everyone should stop saying it’s not a sport, I’m making a point on how people make accusations about it and the people who engage in the activity. Especially how people call the male dancers “gayâ€. They have so much strength and potential, they enjoy it and love it. It’s a privilege to watch males dance, it really is. Just let them do what they please. We don’t discuss you looking gay as you play football, or say it’s not a sport.
Anything that involves movement/working your muscles in an activity is eligible as a sport. We dancers have our views on our sport, keep your negative opinions to yourself please. You’re talking trash about our passion here.
When I go to a friends house for dinner it’s weird, because I’m hanging out with my friend and the parents talk to me like “do you like school?†and “are you in the school play?†and so on. What’s the point of eating dinner at a friend’s if they’re just going to talk to me?!
My nephew is just so gullible and innocent that it makes me worry about him constantly. By now, at the age of 13, he should have learned that not everyone is a nice person. He’s come to live with me for a while, and I basically have to watch him 24/7. Yesterday, he was scammed out of fifty bucks by a homeless man! Seriously!
Every once in a while there will be a day where I just feel nasty. Not sick, but just gross. It’s usually when I wake up too late and then my day is so short, all I end up doing is being lazy.
I live with my younger brother and 16-year-old sister. I have a book report due at the beginning of school which starts in five days. When I need to work on it, they are fighting or blasting the TV. Just stop!
For my dad’s job, he has to lay brick and stone on houses. He is doing this one huge extravagant house. The homeowners can’t decide on a color so he has not worked for a week. Do they not realize that maybe they have money and don’t need a job, but the people who work on their house, thats the job that supports their family? Make up your mind. Its a color! Not a life or death desision.
I hate how small the pockets are on girls’ pants. I mean, guys’ pant pockets can hold everything. Their wallet, cell phone, iPod, camera and their PS3. It’s unfair. I can barely fit my chapstick in my pockets.
