Things That I Hate

Tears

I can’t cry because my face already burns from having done so, but not crying only makes me feel worse, but I’m afraid to cry because then the tears won’t stop falling.

Being Judged

Calling me ugly doesn’t make you any prettier. Saying I’m stupid doesn’t make you any smarter. Telling someone that I’m not cool doesn’t make you any more popular. Calling me weak doesn’t make you any stronger. Making fun of me doesn’t make you a good person.

When People Interrupt Me

It’s very rude, disrespectful and annoying, especially when I was saying something important. Then I have to wait until the other person stops talking, and by then I’ve already forgotten what I was originally saying.

Popular People

I hate people who are like “we’re so cool”. They’re not cool, they’re popular. They try to act cool, but they’re no good at it. They also act like there’s drama in their lives but I know it’s all an act—some people have real drama in their lives. They think they’re hot. Most of them aren’t. They think they’re better than everyone else. They aren’t! They shouldn’t be popular, they suck.

Fake Friends

Honestly, I don’t get how a person could stoop so low as to pretend to be your friend just to find out secrets, then turn around and tell those secrets to their friends, who are blabber-mouths that tell everybody. And even if people just use you to get or do stuff, it really annoys me.

Underaged Kids and Alchohol

I am completely against alcohol, drugs and non-emotional sex. My “friends” are the opposite. They got my boyfriend interested in such things and now they want me to join in also. And we are only fourteen. Why do they want to do that? They believe it’s a “great way to have fun” and they are saying I can’t have fun. Well, I’m sorry that I prefer to be clean instead of a drug addict.

“You’re too young to watch that!”

I’m thirteen years old. I know everything they’re saying on TV, and even if I don’t watch it, it’s not like I don’t hear it constantly at school. I am not too young to watch it!

On Too Much

I hate when someone who is friends with me on Facebook says, “you’re on Facebook way too much!” whenever I see them. First of all, I’m barely ever on, and when I am, I post a few things. According to some of my Facebook friends, my posts are always on their newsfeed. Well, FYI, when I post things, I post things. Their idea of a lot must be everyone else’s idea of barely. They get me so frustrated, I want to get rid of my account.

Stereotypes

You. Yes, you. You’re the reason why people make assumptions about your gender, race or interests. I beg of you, stop conforming!

“Boy Music” and “Girl Music”

In the middle of a long car ride with my eight year old cousin, I turned up the volume on my phone while in the middle of a text conversation. My ring tone happens to be rap. When it played, he said, “So you like boy music? That’s weird. Most girls like Taylor Swift or other crap like that.” So according to him, I might as well be a boy.
